He follows in the footsteps of other North Staffs members including Archie Gallimore, Holly Nixon and Roisin Selby in reaching Futures Cup. Goalkeeper Roisin is also a non-travelling reserve for the Girls u17s Mercian Lynx side this year, another superb achievement.

Our younger juniors have also enjoyed some excellent successes recently, with numerous juniors representing Staffordshire Marauders at the UK Lions Tournament.

Rohan Sheldon, Henry Asquith, Alex Cooper and Ben McBain were all part of the Boys squad which won two of their five games against regional teams from across the UK.

The Girls team was dominated by North Staffs members, and captained by North Stafford junior Fran Callwood. Other club representatives in the squad were Isabella Moore, Ruby Morris, Raph Korylco-Bowers, Louisa Wilcox, Freya Snell, Macey Bains and Ava Flavell, whilst Amelia Jacklin-Chatha only missed out due to self-isolation.

Goalkeeper Isabella Moore particularly shone during the tournament and was deservedly rewarded with a call-up to the UK Lions squad as reward for her exceptional performances for Staffordshire Marauders.
