North Stafford Men's 2s play in Midlands West 5 and head into the 2026/27 season looking to build on last year's strong finish of 4th in a new league and the success of 2024/25 season Midland North West Champions and Tier 4 National National Champions.

There is optimism this season though with a settled squad being strengthened by further additions to the squad. Kavan Nijjer will be taking over the captaincy from Dave Washington this season and there is a determination to push for promotion.

The 2s also plays a key role in developing players to go on and play 1st team hockey in the future, whilst also acting as one of the club's performance teams itself. Aided by a nucleus of experienced senior players and the coaching support of Head Coach Kevin Heath, the side has high hopes of kicking on further in the future.
