Well, that was a good game! WELL PLAYED EVERYONE.
3:1 win is our best result yet. Bearing in mind that Stone 5's are 1 place below us in the league, this was an important victory. We played well as a team and looked like a winning squad.

A big thanks is due to Andy Worsley (The Stig) who stepped up to play in goal. His history as a leading football goalie shone through with some dramatic diving saves that kept us in the game. This win was largely down to you Andy!

The goals scorers also contributed to the win. Alex opened our winning account with a very calm goal on the 15 minute mark. Ted and Lee put the result beyond any doubt with clean finishes.

However the result was a great team effort. Will was superb, Angus had a great game, Henry was always strong, and the rest of played well too.

Ted, not only was this our best result of the season but also your Beef Stew with Roast Potatoes also set a high bar for us all to follow. I heard lots of people saying this was the best tea so far. Thanks very much.
